At 7'10" with heavy power, it drives a 1-ounce-plus weight through matted grass and pads, then gives you the power to pull a big bass up and out before she wraps you. The counter-balanced handle offsets the tip so you can hold the rod up and watch your line all day without your wrist quitting on you. The moderate-fast tip loads just enough to fire a long flip into a tight window.
